KOSTGard® JM EP Gear

KOSTGard JM EP Gear oils are premium emulsifiable, industrial, extreme pressure fluids. They are designed with specialized additive to provide protection to industrial gear systems operating in extremely wet environments. The specialized emulsifiers are very shear stable and effective in emulsifying up to 40% water. Along with the emulsifier package, they contain a balance of extreme pressure and anti-wear additives. Oxidation, corrosion, rust and foam inhibitors are also blended into these fluids. KOSTGard JM EP Gear series’ high film strength and load carrying capacity provides gear teeth protection from wear, all types of surface stress and premature failure.

KOSTGard JM EP Gear series are well suited for use in enclosed gear systems operating under heavy shock loading. In particular they are recommended for the lubrication of crawler drives and cutter head gears of continuous mining machines. These products may also find application in plain and anti-friction bearing, chassis drives and slides. They may be used in spur, herringbone, bevel, and worm gears in mill, mining and mobile equipment calling for AGMA EP Type lubricants.
