KOST USA, Inc. is an independent manufacturer of Heat Transfer Fluids who is able and determined to help your company grow your Heat Transfer Fluid business and improve profitability. Independent means that KOST USA is privately held, not under the restraints of a major corporation, rather set up in a way that maximizes the benefits for our customers. Where major companies fall short in customer service, we supply our customers with the attention they need, as well as support and flexibility in order to help them promote positive growth.
We offer our customers premium quality Heat Transfer Fluid products which are ALL available in customized mixtures and specific blends/concentrations. We are able to package these products in railcar, truckload, totes, drums, and pails. If there is a need for multiple products on each shipment; KOST USA will meet that need.
KOST USA, Inc. offers an in-house fluid analysis program. This begins with sample(s) from our customer. We can provide pre-made sample kits or customers can use their own. These sample(s) are then analyzed using our industry-leading equipment. These results are then given to the customer, and explained fully. Based on these results we then will make a recommendation on the health of the fluid in each sample(s) tested. Many times, fluid life can be extended with a “re-boost” inhibitor package provided by KOST USA, Inc. This clearly can save our customers money by avoiding a complete flush and re-fill if determined unnecessary. We pride ourselves on being able to get these results returned to our customers very quickly.
The Fluid Analysis Program will consist of sample analysis to include: unit ID, system volume(s), fluid monitoring, fluid maintenance, levels of metals, percentage of glycol, inhibitor level, proper corrosion protection limits, thermal protection, freeze point and foreign substances. We simply ask that a request form be filled out either by the customer or in conjunction with a KOST USA representative. As mentioned earlier, KOST USA can offer recommendations to include: analytical reporting, system re-boost with inhibitor package, robust fluid to recharge system, flush and refill. This is considered a specific fluid analysis customized to a specific system rather than offering generic inhibitor packages (such as a major may do). Again, without having to outsource the fluid-analysis and thoroughly completing this in-house we are able to answer questions and discuss fluid analysis results in a sufficient and timely manner directly with our customers.
KOST USA also offers fluid analysis regardless of brand name currently in the system as well as offers recommendations based on that analysis. KOST USA offers compatible product(s) that will not compromise the system.

The free analysis is to be used within the same calendar year as the product was purchased. Sample analysis performed in excess of the allowable free analysis based upon volume in sales for that same quarter will be billed quarterly after all open analysis are completed. Especially designed and agreed upon plans and/or pricing schedules can be made for systems using a competitive product. Based on trending we can recommend a viable fluid analysis frequency more suited to a specific application versus on size fits all.
